Its been a while since we travelled and its good to be posting something here again. We have some plans for the coming months which should keep us posting some more in the Spring/Summer ahead.
We took a 10 day cruise from San Francisco down the California/Mexican coastline. Stephen had never been to Mexico and was keen to see the beaches and towns on our trip.
A Google Map of the trip is below although we sailed down the coast rather than drove, thank goodness!
San Francisco
Always a fun place to visit, we were fortunate to spend a couple of days in the city prior to getting on the ship. The weather was amazingly sunny and warm for our departure and we sailed right under the Golden Gate Bridge on the way out to sea! What a thrill. You could almost touch the underside of the bridge from our vantage point right on top of the ship and although our photos were not as good as the real thing we were so lucky to have a sunny clear day do see it (unlike when we returned!).

Puerto Vallarta
After three days lazy sailing down the California and Baja coasts our first port of call was Puerto Vallarta where we arrived at 7:30am. We spent a great morning with friends John & Sandy from Michigan who were returning home from Puerto the same day we visited. They were able to show us the sites and orientate (using the UK version of the word here as opposed to the US ‘orient’. Check out here for more info on the difference) to the town before leaving which was really nice for us.
We’re here!
